Target lovin'

I am a large Target lover. This relationship started when I was in college and has grown substantially ever since then. I mean, this is literally the story of my life...

So in preparation for the 4th of July, naturally I had to go pick up some stuff I actually did need..kinda ;) Here's what I got.

1. Twizzlers - because I saw this pretty way to serve them

2. 2 packages of Flags - 3 flags per package found in their dollar section. I don't even know if thats a good deal or not. I pretty much believe that anything for a dollar must be a great deal, lol.

3. 8 White Melamine Salad & Dinner Plates - They are Target's RE or Room Essentials brand. I didn't want to use my heavy plates outside and honestly wanted something prettier than paper plates. I tried to find them online but couldn't. These are pretty close.

4. 1 package of 6 Celebration Crackers - Originally I wanted to buy sparklers because we aren't actually going to go see the fireworks this year (I don't want to be that family that brings their infant!) But then I was reading online that any type of fireworks, including those pop rocks you throw on the ground and sparklers are very much illegal in New Jersey. And if you are caught with them it's like a $500 fee and jail time. Soooo not doing that. Then I found these in the seasonal section of the store. They were actually at the end of the isle display towards the back of the store..not sure if they were kind of hidden on purpose or not because apparently these are somewhat like an explosive?? I'm not sure...but I figured if Target was selling them legally in NJ, then certainly I could purchase them legally. I just needed to show the cashier my license...weird? I thought so too. Sorry - couldn't find anything similar online - check your local store!

5. Outdoor string lights - this probably doesn't fall under the need category, but they are pretty :) Again, by Target's RE brand. See them online here, but you have to buy in store.

6. 2 glass jars - again, because I saw them used here.

Is there nothing we can't learn from pinterest! Seriously. Anyway...$8 for one..pretty sure that's another good deal. I'm sure you can also find them at Home Goods or Marshalls, but I'm thinking the price will be fairly similar.
